My number one memory of my college years would have to be FRESHMAN YEAR, IN ITS ENTIRETY!! I made so many unforgettable memories and I owe it to all these girls for being my first family in Long Beach! I know we all branched out and went our separate ways, but I love that when we do come together, it is like nothing has changed. I miss all of you so much and I really think we should have a reunion soon :] love you guys!

I had to come up with a children’s book for one of my classes and my kids served as my inspiration <3 enjoy!

Together and United
In dedication to my pledge kids,
I love all you turtles so much!
No matter where we end up in life,
We will always find each other.
Mama Turtle called her babies, but no one made a noise.
She called Papa Turtle and said, “I can’t find our baby girls and boys!”
He said, “Don’t worry dear, we’re playing hide-and-seek.
So I guess they are all hidden, so now let’s go take peek!”
Mama Turtle asked, “Where should we start?”
Papa Turtle said, “How about the bedroom,
Where Alyssa, Emily, and John are having a heart to heart.”
“We found you, kids!” Mama Turtle exclaimed.“Now where should we go?”
John said, “I know a place, but you’ll have to crouch real low.”
We looked under the bed and there were three,
Our littlest turtles, Sara, Kristine, and Tracy.
Sara said, “Let’s check the kitchen, I have a hunch on who is there.”
And sure enough David and Dean were eating the food we had to spare.
David said, “Wait! I bet some turtles are hiding in the pantry.”
So we opened the door and who do we see?
Rebecca, Alia, and Tori eating all the chocolates and candy.
Tori said, “Now let’s go to the gym!
I think that is where Angelo, Yero, and Steven are in!”
And there they were all having some fun,
Balling, swimming, and ready to run.
Steven said, “Now let’s go to the bathroom.
There is bound to be people in there.”
So we went in and saw Michael doing Sylvia’s hair.
We walked into the living room and were surprised to see,
Katherine, Kenric, Lara, and Ashlee.
Lara said, “We all thought hide-and-seek was lame!”
Katherine added, “So we rebelled and did not play the game.”
Papa Turtle said, “You might have some fun, you never know!
We still have more turtles to find, so come on, let’s go!”
Mama Turtle said, “How about we check outside,
There is a lot of places out there for turtles to hide.”
High in the tree, we spotted a few,
Sean, Hirata, and Stephanie Koo.
Papa Turtle said, “There is still one turtle who is still in.”
But even before we started looking for her,
Tiffany screamed, “I WIN!”
“We found all our kids!” Papa Turtle said happily.
Mama Turtle said, “Yay! I love our big family!”
“We all do too!” said all the turtles super excited.
Families always find each other and stay together and united.
I couldn’t even begin to describe how much these people mean to me. I said in my Grad speech that, “When I picture my future, I see all of them in it” and I truly meant it. In How I Met Your Mother, there is something called “The Front Porch Test” and all my pledge bros definitely pass that test! I can see all of us growing old together, sitting on the front porch, and playing Thirteen! :] hehe!

From beginning to end, you guys always had my back <3 N4L!
I owe it Movement Project for bringing me back into dance during my college years. I don’t know how and why I did it, but I stopped dancing once I came to college and it was probably the biggest mistake of my life! Dance has always been a big part of my life since I was little so I owe a big thank you to Movement Project and Phillup for bringing me back to my first true love.
